As many of you know on January 23, 2010 our dear friend Phil suffered a sudden and totally unanticipated stroke while he and his wife Lara were traveling in the southwest, far away from home. Fortunately, Phil was able to pull his car over safely, but had to be rushed to the hospital. Two months have passed and he and Lara are back home in Maine. Phil is recuperating but still suffering the effects of the stroke. As I write, Lara is expecting to deliver their baby at any moment.
Phil is a beloved member of the world shakuhachi community and we wish to help out in every way possible. This benefit sale is small gesture of our support and love.
All proceeds for the items listed below will go directly to the James family.
