All headjoints are fabricated with seamless tenons made of solid sterling silver (as opposed to brass, copper or plated material).
Fits Standard C- or B-Foot, Alto & Wood Flutes
A complete instrument also available for those who do not presently own a silver flute. The Shakulute is now available with a Gemeinhardt Model 2SP, C-foot, closed hole flute complete with transverse headjoint and hard case.

The Shakulute can be fitted to wood as well as silver flutes.

Included with each Shakulute at no additional charge are the following items:
● An utaguchi cover (mouthpiece
cap) to protect the delicate blowing edge.
●
A thumb
rest that clips on the lower portion of the flute. It is easy to install and
remove and will not damage the flute body.
● A handmade black walnut wood carrying case.
● A tsuyutoshi or cleaning cloth.
●
Instructions on how to produce a sound on the shakuhachi-style
mouthpiece.
